System for flat bottom tanks according to DIN 4119

The problem / Our solution

Today, corrosion is no longer only used for metallic materials, but also for glass, plastics, concrete, building materials, etc. The attacking medium is called a corrosive agent. If a corrosion attack impairs the functionality of a component, this is referred to as corrosion damage.

In order to prevent chemical corrosion processes, there are various methods and procedures that are generally referred to as corrosion protection.

Normally, the protective measures taken aim at reducing the speed of the corrosive attack to such an extent that damage to the component during its service life can be avoided.

Why not reduce the risk to zero and use the spent money on corrosion protection for other projects.

You can achieve all this when INOX sheets are used.

This is how we understand: ” An investment in the future”.

One of our special products is the installation of a vacuum-monitored double-bottom system.

This system has many advantages :

  • you do not have to coat the stainless steel floor
  • you can produce 200 years without interruption as long as the vacuum lasts
  • various media can be stored on these floors, such as diesel, biodiesel, petrol, kerosene, NAFTA, heavy oil/ crude oil, ammonia, alcohols and liquid gases, which can never have a negative effect on the floor because it is made of stainless steel
  • Plumbom tank bottoms are also resistant against salt and chlorine

It is also important to point out that we do not need gaps in our assembly work. Conversely, this means that we do not damage the tank shell. We bring our materials through the manhole into the tank.
